DIRECTIONS OF RESEARCH
for the 2019/2020 academic year

Scientific adviser Topic    Scope
Ph.D., Assoc.
Beznosyk Yuri
Development of an automation system of scientific researches for solving inverse problems of technology   The goal of research and development of an automated system is to obtain correct solutions in research and mathematical modeling of various problems of chemistry and chemical technology.

Ph.D., Assoc.
Kvitka Оlexander
Development of an automation system of processes of resource saving schemes synthesis for water treatment   The goal is to develop and algorithmically implement an automated system for the analysis and synthesis of water preparation and wastewater treatment schemes at industrial plant

Ph.D., Assoc.

Modeling the thermal mass transfer and comparison of different types of reactors for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis   Reactors for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis can be divided into two classes. First, reactors with a fixed layer of granular catalyst, through which the synthesis gas is pumped. The second class includes slurry-reactors, where the catalyst particles are suspended on the interface liquid - synthesis gas - a catalyst. The purpose of research is increasing reactors' efficiency by the development of mathematical models and control systems.

Ph.D., Assoc.
Sanginova Olga
Automation of the process of skin cutting   The goal of the research is to develop scientifically grounded methods of automation of the preparation of cutting production in the composition of the automated enterprise management system and the development of new models for optimal placement of parts.

Ph.D., Assoc.

Automation of microreactor control processes in technological schemes of biofuel production   Currently, the use of micro-reactive technologies for the production of biofuels by transesterification of vegetable oils with ethyl alcohol is urgent. This reaction is described by a complex mathematical model. The goal of the research is to identify the parameters of the mathematical model for the purpose of controlling the process in the microreactor.

Ph.D., Assoc.

Automation of ecoefficiency assessment and life cycle analysis of industrial water treatment systems   The implementation of decision support systems for ecoefficient solutions is an urgent task in the field of designing and retrofitting water treatment schemes for industrial enterprises. The aim of the research is to introduce eco-efficiency and life cycle assessment approaches into modelling and structural optimization of wastewater treatment systems.
